Welcome Back!
10th January 2025
Happy New Year to all members of our Learning Partners community.
I am sure by now that the festive season has become a distant memory, I was quickly reminded of this when I spotted Easter eggs for sale in a local supermarket at the weekend!
I hope you had a restful holiday break, I’m never quite sure myself just how ‘restful’ the Christmas holidays really are? I was certainly quite happy to rescind my role as ‘chief housekeeper’ and skip back into school this week. I am sure though that having had some time off the educational treadmill, you are ready to embrace the challenges and joys of the term ahead.
As we continue to innovate and adapt to the evolving educational landscape alongside the proposed Children’s wellbeing and schools bill, we are excited to further explore the concept of geographical hubs within the Learning Partners community during 2025 and beyond. These hubs will serve as dynamic centres for collaboration, professional development, and resource sharing among schools. By fostering closer connections between staff and learners across our trust, we hope that the hubs can create opportunities for joint learning projects as well as operational benefits and collaboration. The hub model aims to break down silos, encourage the sharing of best practices, and provide access to state-of-the-art facilities and expertise, ultimately enhancing the learning experience for everyone involved. Our aim being that together we can unlock the potential of this collaborative model and create a richer, more connected educational environment.
As we look ahead, we are filled with optimism and determination. The strength of Learning Partners lies in its people—pupils, staff, families, and the wider community. Together, we will make this term, and the year as a whole, a time of growth, achievement, and joy. Here’s to a fantastic start to 2025 and all the opportunities it brings!
