14th August 2025
This year, Learning Partners Academy Trust’s sixth form providers - Fullbrook School in Addlestone, George Abbot School, and Guildford County School in Guildford - are celebrating strong A-Level and BTEC results. These achievements demonstrate the students’ talent and resilience, supported by dedicated staff and engaged families and community members.
The Trust is proud to share the overall results outlined below:
77.44% A*- C
55.97% A*- B
31.09% A*- A
This year’s results reflect not only the academic success of our students but also the personal growth they’ve shown throughout their school journey. Their determination, focus, and ability to overcome challenges speak volumes about their character. Across the Trust, schools place strong emphasis on building life skills such as confidence, resilience, and a positive mindset - qualities that have clearly supported our students in achieving these excellent outcomes.
Across the Trust, the CEO and Headteachers have applauded the hard work of their students, acknowledging the unified effort that has contributed to these impressive outcomes.
Mr. Jack Mayhew, CEO of Learning Partners, said:
“These accomplishments represent more than individual hard work - they highlight the strength of a community that champions education and invests in the success of its young people. The dedication of students, staff, families, and the wider community has come together to produce results we can all take pride in.”
Executive Principal Alastair Mckenzie and Head of School Anna Wallis at Fullbrook said:
“We are incredibly proud of our students. Their achievements this year are the result of dedication, teamwork and a shared commitment to our values. Whether heading to university, apprenticeships or employment, they carry with them the kindness, attitude and ambition that will shape their futures. They are a tremendous group of young men and women and go into the world well prepared for their futures, as learners and as people.”
Mrs Kate Carriett, Headteacher at George Abbot School, commented:
“Our students have shown great maturity and determination throughout their sixth form studies and their achievements are a true reflection of both their academic ability and personal growth. These results speak volumes about their strength of character. It has been a privilege to witness their development and success; I know they will thrive in their next steps. Our students join me in thanking our dedicated staff, whose expertise, support and guidance have been instrumental. Well done and good luck, Year 13!”
Mr Steve Smith, Headteacher of Guildford County School, remarked:
“Our students' success reflects the exceptional partnership between our school, families, and the wider community. Through this shared commitment, we have created an environment where young people feel encouraged, supported, and confident to excel. This year’s A level results are the best in our school’s history, by a significant margin, and stand as a proud celebration of what can be achieved when we work together.”
With celebrations underway, attention is shifting to the road ahead. A significant number of students plan to pursue higher education, apprenticeships, or employment. The excellent results achieved this year, together with the experience and skills cultivated at school, prepare them well for the challenges and opportunities to come.
