CPD Newsletter w/c 7/10/19

Thank you to everyone who attended a CPD session or Curriculum Network on either 30th September or 4th November. In total 158 teachers and support staff from across both the GEP and Athena Trusts attended an event and we have invited feedback via Survey Monkey to help with future planning. Please can you fill out this survey if you haven’t already. Further thanks goes to everyone who managed to navigate our new Eventbrite system in order to sign up, and we ask that everyone use this method going forward if directed so we are able to arrange the right size of room and correct number of resources. If you have any problems with using Eventbrite, please contact Jackie Blackwood at jblackwood@gepacademies.com.
In response to requests from schools, the team are currently planning further CPD sessions and will ensure any new sessions are highlighted on this bulletin which is designed to display at a glance what is coming up over the next couple of weeks. Sessions on dyslexia and behaviour management are both in the pipeline: details are forthcoming. Each month we will also update and attach the full schedule for a full view of what is available. In the meantime, please don’t forget to book upcoming CPD sessions ASAP to secure your place!
