Loseley Fields Primary School is immensely proud of the outcome of its recent Ofsted Inspection.
On July 12th and 13th, Loseley Fields Primary School in Godalming, a member of Learning Partners Academy trust, underwent an Ofsted Inspection. The school was thrilled to be able to showcase its strengths.
The school, based in Farncombe, has been transformed over the last four years following the arrival of Headteacher Amanda Pedder. It has been an incredible journey and one which has involved the whole community. Upon Mrs Pedder’s arrival at the school, a strategic drive was put in place to improve behaviour, strengthen the nurturing environment and redevelop the curriculum. During this period, an incredible amount of hard work and commitment was required by the team of dedicated staff and they threw themselves into improving the school and the outcomes of their pupils; moving the school from requires improvement to good with many outstanding features.
Ofsted described Loseley Fields as a “vibrant and ambitious school” where “leaders want every pupil to succeed and flourish.” The pupils are “bright, curious and eager to please” with “impeccable” behaviour. Ofsted also noted that “work on personal development, including pastoral care and citizenship, is exceptional.”
Amanda Pedder, Headteacher said “We work in primary education to ensure that every child receives the best possible support to move forward in their academic life with confidence, enthusiasm and ambition, no matter what it takes. We are able to deliver a structured, safe, engaging and exciting journey for our young people which Ofsted have rightfully recognised. We are delighted with the report, which is testament to the dedication and commitment of all the staff at Loseley Fields. I would like to say thank you to all the staff and families for making Loseley Fields what it is today.” Please click here to read Mrs Pedder’s letter to parents.
