Stellar set of GCSE results across the trust

Students and staff celebrate a superb set of GCSE results across the trust.
Learning Partners Academy Trust are thrilled with the GCSE results released on August 24 at Fullbrook, George Abbot, Guildford County School and Kings College Guildford and would like to congratulate all the students on their achievements and the progress they have made throughout their time at school.
The trust commends both the students and staff who have worked tirelessly to achieve the best possible outcome. These results highlight the importance of community, collaboration, and teamwork.
The collective set of results are as follows:
9 - 7 = 33%
9 - 5 = 67%
9 - 4 = 81%
Grade 4+ in En & Ma = 81%
Grade 5+ in En & Ma = 61%
Jack Mayhew, CEO of Learning Partners said “Each and every student should be immensely proud of themselves, we are certainly very proud of them all; the hard work, determination and courage that they have demonstrated throughout and prior to the exam season will stand them in good stead as they move forward in their lives. Our schools have equipped them with resilience and curiosity and we are confident that these skills will lead them to further success. I would like to thank all staff in the schools for the dedicated support and guidance they have provided to ensure that the GCSE cohort of 2023 achieved these results. Anna Wallis, Head of School said “I would like to congratulate all our students today who have received their GCSE results. They have worked extremely hard, and I am very proud of them all. Their futures are bright, and I wish them all the very best whichever path they choose to follow next. They have much to celebrate and I look forward to welcoming many back to Fullbrook6 in September to continue their journey.
Kate Carriett, Headteacher of George Abbot School said “It has been an incredible journey for the GCSE cohort of 2023, which has concluded with a superb set of results. We congratulate every one of our students today; we are delighted that their hard work and determination has been richly rewarded. We feel very privileged that the majority have chosen to continue their journey with us and look forward to welcoming them back in September. We are sure that those moving on to pastures new will do so with strength and great resilience.”

We are delighted with this year’s results which reflect the hard work, determination and talent of our students.
